Material Delivery

From Sparks Yard to the Jobsite

Rock, base, millings, crushed concrete, and stabilization materials can be reviewed for residential, ranch, contractor, city, and commercial delivery needs.

Project Types

Roads, Pads, Access and Property Support

Material selection starts with what the surface needs to carry, how the property drains, and how the road, pad, or access route will be used.

Delivery Planning

Truck Access, Quantity and Timing

Delivery planning can include estimated quantity, site access, gate conditions, road conditions, unloading location, schedule window, and repeat-load needs.

Available Rock and Base Materials

Build the Surface for the Traffic, Ground, and Work It Needs to Handle.

Rock and base materials each have different roles. Some are commonly used for a compactable top layer, some for working base, and others for heavier stabilization where ground conditions need more support.

Material 01 · Base and Surface

¾ Minus

A compactable material commonly selected where a smoother packed surface is needed for driveways, pads, parking areas, access routes, and everyday working areas.

  • Compactable driveway surface
  • Useful for pads and access routes
  • Can be part of a finished top layer
Material 02 · Strong Working Base

Limestone Base

A practical base material often used for roads, building pads, access lanes, work areas, and properties that need a durable compactable base before the next phase.

  • Road and driveway base material
  • Working support for pads and access
  • Suitable for repeat traffic areas
Material 03 · Surface Finish

Asphalt Millings

Recycled asphalt material often used for driveways, private roads, parking areas, and access routes where a packed driving surface is desired.

  • Driveway and private-road surface option
  • Useful for parking and access areas
  • Project suitability reviewed by conditions
Material 04 · Recycled Base

Crushed Concrete

A recycled material option used for driveways, pads, access routes, work areas, and budget-conscious projects needing base material support.

  • Cost-conscious base material option
  • Driveways, pads and work areas
  • Useful in phased property improvements
Material 05 · Stabilization Layer

1×3 Rock

A mid-sized rock option often considered when ground needs stronger support beneath smaller surface material or where a working transition layer is needed.

  • Support layer for softer ground
  • Useful beneath smaller materials
  • Can support access and stabilization plans
Material 06 · Heavier Stabilization

3×5 Rock

Larger rock commonly considered where deeper soft areas, rutting, washouts, wet conditions, or heavy stabilization needs require a stronger first layer.

  • Heavier stabilization use
  • Soft spots, washouts and deeper problem areas
  • May be topped with smaller material by project need

Simple Rock and Base Direction Before You Order.

Send the project location, explain the ground conditions, tell us what the surface needs to support, and provide an estimated quantity or dimensions. Sparks Trucking can review the practical material direction before delivery is scheduled.

Driveway or Packed Surface ¾ minus, limestone base, or millings may be reviewed depending on the use and existing ground.
Road, Pad or Working Area Limestone base or crushed concrete may be considered where a compactable working base is needed.
Soft, Wet or Rutted Conditions Larger rock such as 3×5 or 1×3 may be reviewed before smaller surface material is added.
Commercial or Public Property Include the access route, truck traffic, delivery window, field contact, and operational restrictions for review.
